Food Service
When you need help with your next event, party, reunion or luncheon, call the Ridge Area Arc Food Service Crew. We have 18 servers and six trained supervisors who are all certified in the SafeStaff Foodhandler Certificate Program which is an approved food safety program through the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association. This certification is good for three years.
In addition to the SafeStaff Foodhandler Certification, the servers each completed a 14-week training program and received certificates based on doing table set up and food service in the Avon Park Depot Museum Dining Car.
The Ridge Area Arc Food Service Crew continues its training and volunteer food service in the Avon Park Depot Museum Dining Car where they serve food and beverages to parties of 15-40 people. They have also served food buffet-style and cleaned tables at the Ridge Area Arc Kokomo fundraiser for 100 people.
